Mechanical shock test

 

Test purposes 

 

Determine if the performance is ineffective at normal and extreme temperatures when the product is subjected to a series of shocks.

 

The technical specifications of the impact test include: peak acceleration, pulse duration, speed change (half sine wave, post-peak sawtooth wave, trapezoidal wave) and waveform selection. There is no special requirement for the number of impacts, and each face is impacted 3 times for a total of 18 times. Many products are subject to impact during use, handling, and transportation. The magnitude of the impact varies widely and has complex properties. Therefore, the impact and collision reliability test is suitable for determining the weak points of the machine and assessing the integrity of the product structure.

 

Impact test waveform

 

1) Half sine wave

 

2) Trapezoidal wave (square wave)

 

3) Triangle wave (forward sawtooth and back sawtooth)

 

Mechanical shock test conditions

 

Impact type: half sine / square wave impact acceleration pulse width / speed change rate (square wave)

 

Number of samples; test axial direction: ±X / ± Y / ± Z;

 

Number of tests: n times / axis or n times / face;

 

The size of the test sample - less than or equal to the maximum size of the device;

 

Sample weight; sample clamping, whether design fixture is required (special fixtures are required by customer)

 

Additional function test information confirmation; test basis (reference standard) and result judgment basis (result determination method)
